Tomato Pasta
I dined at Jack’s, a busy restaurant, in San Mateo. For dinner, I ordered a nice-sounding pasta, which consisted of tomatoes, olive oil, basil, and angel hair pasta. Now angel hair is like spaghetti, but a lot thinner, which is how it has its name, angel hair. The pasta looked and smelled delicious, but…it did not taste too good! So much tomato. I felt as if I were drowning in a pool of tomatoes. With one side pasta, and the other tomato puree, this pasta was VERY tomato-ey. If I could tell the chef about this dish, I would clearly tell him that it was not the bomb. It was filling, but my taste buds rejected it. If there were any other flavors, I did not taste them, for the tomato covered them all up.
I rate it 2 out of 5 stars.
Note to Self: If I ever go there again, get something else!
